However, a whistleblower has stepped forward
and could make a huge break in the case. Former Seagate employee Paul Galloway
claims that Seagate not only improperly incorporated the technology, originally
developed at M.I.T. into their products, but actively destroyed evidence that
Seagate met with Convolve in 1998 and 1999 to discuss the technology and tried
to reach a business agreement. Convolve has lawsuits pending against other
technology companies, so Galloway’s testimony may have a huge impact on the
computing business world.
